1965 Vintages for National Day #1: Glen Keith 1965

1965 Vintages for National Day

Glen Keith 1965 (Speyside)

To commemorate Singapore's 46th Birthday, SGwhisky will be highlighting a set of 4 1965 vintages for one and all to have a shot of as we toast to Singapore's good and continuing health! Adding on to that, we've gotten the who's who of the Singapore whisky industry to give their blessings to Singapore as well!

1965 vintages can be pretty pricey, but let's start off with a reasonably priced old bottling from Gordon and Macphail. Distilled in 1965 at the now closed Glen Keith distillery, this whisky is easy drinking and is considerably well priced for a whisky distilled so many a year ago! The fact that it is from a closed distillery adds to the overall value of the whisky, making it one well worth trying.

Detailed tasting notes for this expression will be placed up soon, along with other 1965 vintages that have yet to be highlighted on this blog so hang on to your hats!
